Rotary College

A secondary education in the metropolitan area can potentially provide regional students with greater choice in educational and social experiences at a very important time in their lives.

Como has a long and productive partnership with the nearby Rotary Residential College. You can be confident that our collective values and close relationship affords continuity of care. The residential college provides students attending Government schools stable, secure and trustworthy residential care, ensuring your child will thrive at both Rotary College and our school. Rotary College is family friendly and is able to provide accommodation to visiting families.

Please visit the College website for more information.

Located in East Victoria Park, the Rotary Residential College provides high-quality accommodation for students. Each student has a room with their own bathroom and toilet. The College also provides accommodation for parents who might be visiting over the weekend. Prospective students and their parents are very welcome to visit the College for a tour.

There are many changes in terms of home, social and learning environments.  Como has a well developed and extensive pastoral care system to ease the transition for your child.

Currently Como Rotarians are actively involved in student Mentor programs at our school, which prove highly beneficial to our students.

Another joint community program for students has been Como Rotary Club have approving the introduction of a 5-year student scholarship, named in honour of a past Rotarian, Des Killick, which commences in 2021. See here for details.
