Uniforms

Uniform Orders

All students are to be dressed in College Uniform while at school. We appeal to parents to cooperate with us in our efforts to maintain a high standard of student dress.

The uniforms for students are as follows and can be seen in the demonstration photo opposite and by clicking the descriptions for boys and girls below.

Denim garments such as jeans or denim-skirts are NOT part of the college dress code.

Uniform items can be purchased from the College uniform shop located near the Maths department.

    • Opening hours – every Thursday of school term 8.00-11.30am and 12.30pm-3.45pm.
    • Location – Bruce Street end of B block closest to the bike racks.
    • Enquiries – by leaving a message on 9450 7522 or in writing to Como Secondary College Uniform Shop.
    • Payments – by Cash, Cheque or EFTPOS at the shop on a Thursday or by posting a cheque to Como Secondary College Uniform Shop.

Boys and Girls

 

  • White polo shirt with the school logo, royal blue collar and white stripe (yrs 8,9 & 10)
  • White polo shirt with school logo, navy collar and one royal blue and one white stripe (yrs 11 & 12)
  • Polo shirts are also available with specialist programs names embroidered on them
  • Microfibre zip jacket in college ink navy with royal blue collar and 1 royal blue and 1 white strip on the sleeve
  • Microfibre pull-up trousers in college royal blue
  • Microfibre college shorts in royal blue (not to extend below the knee)
  • Knitted jumper V-neck in navy blue with one royal blue and one white stripe on the sleeve
  • Fleece windcheater 1/4 zip neck in college navy with the royal blue and white stripe on the sleeve
  • Belt in college navy blue or black
  • Optional - college blazer in navy with logo, worn with a white business shirt with college tartan tie
  • Optional - Tartan College Tie
  • Cap/hat in navy blue
  • Taslon fabric shorts in navy blue

Girls

 

  • College skirt in college tartan - wrap around
  • College skirt in college tartan - pleated
  • Dress shorts in college navy
  • Dress trousers in college navy

Boys

 

  • Cargo shorts in college navy - not to extend below the knee
  • Cargo trousers in college navy
