Throughout the years, Como Secondary College has implemented a successful International Student Program and that success has been evident in our increased numbers of international students as well as in their high academic achievements.
In 2009, the college was one of the highest ranking schools for the TEE subject 'English as an Additional Language'. Como SC were also proud to award 6 certificates of Excellence to its students. These awards are given to a small percentage of students in the State who receive 10 grades of 'A'. In addition, Como was the top ranking school in Sport - Specific skills and training.
International students are highly motivated and show a consistent development during their time at the College. In 2008, 100% of our international students enrolled in year 12 successfully achieved the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE), and half of them received a Tertiary Entrance Rank (TER) above 80. The College applauds the efforts of these students and are proud to have the opportunity to be part of their lives and watch them grow and pursue their dreams.
